Is This Song AI is a free web tool that estimates whether a song was made with an AI music generator. For a song link or a title, your browser fetches the official 30-second preview from Apple Music or Deezer; Spotify and YouTube links are matched by title and artist. The audio is analysed in your browser by an open-source model (fakeprint, from the lofcz/ai-music-detector project), and we add Deezer's AI label when Deezer has one.

You get 3 free checks a day. Sample songs and shared song links don't use a check. We may change, pause or stop any feature, including the free checks. We are not affiliated with Spotify, Apple, Deezer, YouTube, Suno or Udio, and their names and marks belong to them.

A result is an estimate from the signals we could read, and it can be wrong in both directions. Likely AI-generated means we found the fingerprint of a known AI music generator or a Deezer AI label; Likely human-made means we found neither, which is not a guarantee. We don't promise that any result is correct or complete.

A result says nothing about the honesty or intentions of the artist, the label or anyone who shared the song. The limits shown with every result, and the accuracy report, explain where the checker is known to fail.

You must not treat a result as proof that a named artist used AI. In particular, you must not publish a result as the sole evidence that an artist faked their music, use it to harass or pile on anyone, or rely on it alone to report an artist to a platform, label, chart, award or employer.

Decisions that affect someone's income, reputation, contracts or chart eligibility need more than a detector score: the artist's own statements, credits, project files and live performances. If you share a result, share it with its limits. A shared link runs the check again for whoever opens it.

Use the site to check songs, for yourself or for your work, honestly and at a human pace. Automated or abusive use spoils it for everyone, so you must not:

• upload audio you don't have the right to use, or anything illegal to possess or share;
• send automated traffic, scrape the site, call its endpoints from your own scripts or overload it;
• get around the free limit, for example by switching devices, browsers or networks;
• edit, fake or crop results or screenshots to change what they say, or present a result as a certificate;
• try to break into, probe or copy the service.

If you break these rules we may block your access.

Paid packs are not on sale yet. The buttons on the pricing page only record which pack you would choose and, if you give it, your email address, so we can send you one message when packs open.

Before we sell anything, we will add to these terms the price of each pack, who processes the payment and the refund terms. Nothing will be charged without a purchase you make yourself.

Files you upload, up to 20 MB, are analysed in your browser (the first 5 minutes) and never sent to us. For links and titles, your browser downloads the preview directly from Apple Music or Deezer; we don't host, sell or redistribute music.

You keep all rights to your files. For each check we keep a record, such as the song or file type and size, the score and the answer, as the privacy policy explains. The site itself, its text, design and code, belongs to us; you may link to it and share results.

Our pages about artists, such as the list of AI artists, only include facts that were reported publicly or stated by the artist, their label or a platform, each with its source. Our scores on those pages are one piece of evidence, not a finding about anyone.

If you represent an artist and something we published is wrong, email hello@isthissongai.app with a link we can check. We review every request and correct mistakes.

The site is provided as it is and as available. As far as the law allows, we make no promises, express or implied, that it will be accurate, always available, free of errors or fit for a particular purpose. It depends on services we don't control, such as Apple Music and Deezer, which can change or fail without notice.

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for any decision you or anyone else makes based on a result. Our total liability to you for anything to do with the site is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before your claim, or USD 10 if you haven't paid anything. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit, or takes away your rights as a consumer where you live.

We may update these terms of service. The date at the top shows the current version, and we'll point out changes that matter, such as the payment terms added before paid packs open. If you keep using the site after a change, the new terms apply.
