Which AI artists are on Spotify?
The best-known AI artists on Spotify are The Velvet Sundown, Breaking Rust, Xania Monet, Sienna Rose and Aventhis, each of which drew a large audience on Spotify or the charts before or after being identified as AI. Since mid-September 2026 Spotify marks artists whose identity is AI-generated with an AI Persona badge, and it says thousands of profiles now carry one.
The table above lists 17 AI and AI-assisted acts that were identified publicly, with who reported it and how their songs scored in our AI song detector. Several made their name on Spotify, others on Billboard's sales charts or on iTunes, like Eddie Dalton and IngaRose. Some disclose AI openly in their bios, while others were identified by a platform or by reporters.
How we chose these AI artists
An act is listed only if the act itself, its creators or label, a streaming platform or a news outlet identified it as AI or AI-assisted, and the Reported by column names that source. We don't add AI artists on Spotify or anywhere else because of a hunch, a comment thread or our own checker's score.
That rule leaves out a lot. Spotify alone has labelled thousands of AI Personas, and most were never written about. It also mixes very different things: a band whose bio says the music is made with AI, a songwriter who writes lyrics and generates the music with Suno, and a publisher who calls AI an assistant in a human-led process. Read the What has been reported column before drawing conclusions about any single act.
If you know a reported AI artist that is missing, send us the source and we'll look at adding it.
What our checker found on these AI artists
23 of the 25 songs scored 0.87 or higher and came back Likely AI-generated from the audio alone. The two misses are telling: Solomon Ray's Find Your Rest scored 0.12, though Deezer labels its album as AI; TaTa's Pulse scored below 0.01, a song built from Timbaland's own demos with a voice that came from Suno.
The lowest score among the songs it caught was King Willonius's BBL Drizzy, at 0.87. The accuracy report has every score, including 40 human songs, many in the same genres, none of which was flagged.
A high score supports what was reported about an act; it doesn't replace it. That is why every row starts with what was reported and by whom, and lists our score after it.
How Spotify and Deezer label AI artists
Spotify labels the artist, Deezer labels the album. Spotify's AI Persona badge, announced in August 2026, marks profiles whose identity is AI-generated, either because the artist said so or because Spotify reviewed it. Deezer has tagged albums containing fully AI-generated tracks since June 2025.
- Spotify AI Persona: shown in the profile banner and About section, in Search and on playlist track rows. Spotify says the badge is about the artist's public identity, not how the music was made, and AI Personas are left out of its editorial and algorithmic recommendations by default.
- Spotify AI credits: since April 2026, artists can disclose which roles and instruments were made with AI in the song credits (Spotify, October 2026).
- Deezer AI tag: a notice on the album page. Deezer also keeps fully AI-generated tracks out of its algorithmic recommendations.
The how-to guide explains where to find each label.
AI-assisted is not the same as fully AI
Many acts on this list are a person plus a generator. A songwriter writes the lyrics, a tool such as Suno makes the music and the voice, and the act is presented as a singer or a band. Others, like TaTa, start from human recordings and use AI for parts of the sound.
Our checker only asks whether the audio as a whole carries a generator's fingerprint, so it tends to catch the first kind and miss the second. It can't tell you how much a person contributed, and it can't settle whether an act was honest with its listeners. For that, look at what the artist says, and see the guide for artists if you make music yourself.
Corrections to this list of AI artists
If you represent an artist on this list and something here is wrong, email hello@isthissongai.app with what should change and a link we can check. We review every request, correct mistakes and note the date of the change on this page.
We also update the list when the facts change, for example when an act discloses AI use, receives or loses a platform label, or shows that a report about it was wrong.

How can I tell if an artist on Spotify is AI?
Look for an AI Persona badge on the profile, read the bio and the song credits, check whether the artist exists outside streaming, and run a song through the AI song checker. The step-by-step guide covers each clue.
Is The Velvet Sundown an AI band?
Yes, by its own account: its Spotify bio calls it a synthetic music project made with AI. Read the full story.
